The Mobile Team

What You'll Do

• Build and spearhead the founding mobile team from scratch, setting it as the cornerstone of our business.
• Direct the technical strategy and advancement of our iOS and Android apps using React Native, leading with innovation and efficiency.
• Establish yourself as the domain authority in mobile development, promoting best practices in architecture, coding standards, and embracing emerging technologies.
• Partner with product management and business stakeholders to define and execute the product and technical roadmaps.
• Take ownership of the mobile apps, ensuring their long-term reliability and optimizing the performance of the wider ecosystem.
• Elevate engineering standards, tooling, and processes, contributing to the platform's continuous improvement.
• Champion a culture of collaboration, transparency, and excellence, guiding the team towards achieving collective and individual growth.

What We Look For

• A minimum of 8 years in software development, with a strong portfolio in mobile application development.
• Deep expertise in the mobile development landscape, fully versed in the application lifecycle from conception to deployment.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, along with an understanding of React Native principles.
• A keen eye for mobile UI/UX design, with the ability to craft intuitive and user-centric applications.
• Proficiency in leveraging mobile development tools, patterns, and frameworks, with a knack for debugging and optimizing application performance.
• Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks for mobile applications.
• The ability to lead by example, inspiring your team with a vision for technology while fostering a culture of transparency and continuous learning.
