Business Intelligence Data Analyst ensures that Shopee conducts trustworthy and reliable operational decisions. Your contribution, whether it is forming insights or resolving business issues, will facilitate our leaders in making corporate strategic decisions. You will be able to work in a dynamic environment with peers proficient in multiple diverse fields, aiming to resolve business problems or create key insights for the company.

You are passionate about learning new metrics, interacting with colleagues from different backgrounds, and completing high-pressure tasks. You will be asked for the best data quality within short working hours. In this role, we expect you to be experts in translating business ideas into practical data.

Job Description:

• Identify opportunities to conduct marketing experiments for platform growth
• Establish analytical frameworks for evaluating new initiatives and ongoing projects
• Distinguish the most critical factors to optimize customer experiences
• Improve workflow efficiencies to support self-service operations

Basic:

• Excellent business acumen and logical thinking in eCommerce
• Experience turning business requirements into business insight through data exploration
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with analytical/ technical training (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, MBA or similar)
• 1+ years relevant hands-on experience in business or data analysis
• Proficiency in SQL / Excel / Google Sheets / PowerPoint / Google Slide

Preferred

• 2+ years relevant experience in eCommerce/ CRM related analysis.
• Capabilities to share and demo related non-confidential projects and achievements
• Experience with at least one data visualization tool for communication
