Summary / Role Purpose
The Channel Account Manager is in charge of all aspects of the indirect business in a country. The role is responsible for maximizing the revenue through the partner network and making the partners successful. This role is also responsible for developing and executing short and long term channel business strategies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Create a mutual agreed business plan with the partner which is reviewed on yearly basis
• Initiate pipeline building activities with channel partners and ensure the pipeline is transparent and accurate for all ANSYS products
• Build and expand the footprint of the channel by recruitment of new partners with Ansys GTM strategy, define expansion and growth plans with existing partners and motivate partners to go into new markets
• Support new channel partner to ensure their long-term business running
• Monitors and discusses partners’ sales activities on a weekly basis
• Help Channel team to discuss the strategic direction of the partner and become a trustful advisor to the senior management of the partner
• Implement the ANSYS Partner Program effectively including compliance, contract terms, and discounting rules
• Works to resolve and manage channel conflicts effectively
• Other duties as required

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing partners in a structured partner program with national role
• A minimum of 5 years People management experience
• A minimum of 7 years of CAE/PLM related working experience
• Understanding of the complexity of a multi-channel GTM model
• Proven track record of success in channel environment


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Familiarity with partner based structure (working in a structured partner environment which is governed by a strict program)
• In addition to the local language, the candidate needs to have fluent English Skill
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Frequent travel expected
