About the role:

The Marketing Associate will be supporting Carousell Taiwan marketing ‘s needs of the transactional business and the overall platform growth. The role will be responsible for all in-app communication, social media activation & maintenance & ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

Strategic:

• Provide strategic direction and oversee the marketing campaigns for all business units
• Oversee and manage the budget for social media initiatives
• Spearhead the initiatives for owned channels
• Support business units and functions (eg. regional partnerships, ads) on campaign curation and project ideas.
• Identify priority growth drivers and strategies to unlock growth in in-app communication campaigns & social platforms.

Functional:

• Provide day-to-day community management, maintenance and content management of digital and social properties
• Manage and execute in-app and off-app initiatives

Requirements:

Educational Background and Work Experience

• BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
• 1-2years relevant working experience, preferably in C2C businesses, tech companies and marketplaces. Fresh graduates are welcome, but need to perform exceptional learning capability, communication & project management skill
• Experience in handling owned channels is preferred.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Experience in project management is preferred

Technical Skills Required

• Perform data analyses and post activity evaluations to deliver customer insights and make recommendations
• A keen eye for detail to manage multiple stakeholders
• Must be performance and data-driven
• Ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Solid computer skills using Google Workspace apps, basic knowledge of editing software (Adobe Photoshop) and additional applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Business Manager, etc.) are a plus
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Exceptional communication and writing skills
