Business Development Associate

Job Description

Durianpay is seeking a Business Development Associate to help us grow with our best-in-market checkout and payments solutions. Our goal is to be a one-stop solution for payment needs. We are seeking individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us, as well as work alongside our top-notch product and tech teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market analysis and research to identify potential clients in the target market, as well as their business and equipment needs.
  2. Generate B2B sales from existing clients/merchants, as well as new business opportunities from enterprise clients, startups, government entities, and other client categories in need of payment solutions. This will include upselling and cross-selling.
  3. Manage a complete sales cycle from cold calls or referrals to meetings, presentations, follow-ups, and deal closings.
  4. Act as a point of contact for clients to understand their needs and respond effectively with a plan to meet those needs. Interact with internal teams, including business development, product, and operations teams.
  5. Generate daily reports on potential merchants/businesses' pipeline, requirements, and sales/closure status.
  6. Monitor client onboarding to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.
  7. Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  8. Collaborate with the product, tech and ops teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

Requirements

Requirements:

  1. 1-2 years of experience in sales and business development.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Bahasa and English.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills.
  4. Knowledge of online payments and B2B Fintech experiences are plus.
  5. Dynamic, persistent, and strategic mindset.
  6. Project management skills to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
