Working Schedule: 10am to 7pm, Monday to Friday

Job Purpose:

Perform back-office accounting of the functions servicing the Group companies to audit standard. Issuing timely Management Accounts, with full explanations of notable variances. Ensuring Balance Sheet Accounts are fully reconciled monthly, and management have visibility of status.

This would include related Treasury and Cash Management activities.

Responsibilities:

• To understand the business operations of the company, enabling proper and completely accounting of the company’s transactions
• To perform accounting to audit standard, using checklist and tools to communicate accounting status and risk
• To ensure all company Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly
• To Issue timely Management Accounts with full explanation of notable variances
• To develop policies and procedure and operate in compliance to them
• To perform annual budgeting for the working with department heads
• To identify and deliver projects to maximize the efficiency of the department
• To manage, train and recruit staff to optimize capability
• To delegate and rotate staff ensuring appropriate work cover
• To improve and control cost allocation to brands and markets
• To partner effectively with other related Group company Finance Managers and internal Managers

Requirements:

• Full set of accounts experience
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• 3 years operational Accounting and Audit experience
• Strong Forex Knowledge and Skills
• Fluent in Chinese and English
• Auditing in a middle/top tier audit firm is an advantage
• Track record of improving processes, controls and efficiency
• Experience of managing accounting departments
• Experience of using MS Navision is a plus
• Inquisitive mind and ability to understand business operations in detail
• Ability to identify and ask searching questions, and ascertain full understanding of issues
• Intermediate level Excel skills
• Eloquent with good writing skills
