【Inventory and Demand planning】
1. Inventory Planning: Keep inventory levels in line with demand and operational needs. Optimize inventory to avoid shortages and excess.
-Short and mid-term planning on daily and monthly basis including supplier capacity planning, daily detail scheduling support according to store requirements, planning data validation and maintaining accuracy, target inventory controlling, reports maintenance.
- Long-term planning - strategic 3 years horizon for planned sourcing changes coordination
and MRP for Procurement negotiations
2. Demand Planning and Forecasting: Predict customer demand for products and services.
Use historical data and market insights to improve forecasting accuracy.
3. Collaborating Across Teams: Host DII and IBP meeting to work with Operation, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams.
4. Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators. Seek process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
【Digital and RM】
1. Using Digital Technology: Utilize Demand, Supply planning and forecasting software tools.
2. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance. Identify and manage supply chain risks.
【People Management】
1. Leading a team: Manage and develop a team of planners. Promote a collaborative, proactive and results-oriented culture.
2. People management: Job assignment. Motivate subordinate a high level of moral & productivity. Leading and couching team member to achieve company’s goal.
3. Taking responsibility for the performance and development of his/her employees, assigning tasks, evaluating their performance, and assisting skill development. Identify and develop Talents to ensure proper substitution matrixes to accommodate any future development and backups.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum education requirement
University or above.
2. Relevant experience and minimum years required
At least 3 years leadership role, in charge planning management or related industry.
3. Basic skills requirements
Language: Good command both in written and spoken English/Chinese.
Computer: Proficient PC skills (MS Office related applications).
Competence Requirements:
1. Planning management experience
2. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
3. Good communication skills in oral and written English.
4. A strongly customer-focused attitude.
5. Commodity market information awareness.
6. International trade experience.
