Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:
• Lead projects and provide work breakdown structures and estimates
• Collaborate on architectural designs, project plans and retrospectives with peers, Tech Leads and Application Architects
• Mentor others and lead training for global software development teams
• Implement and teach best practices for Release Management methodologies
• Lead training for global release management teams
• Work closely with the technical project lead to meet project objectives and timelines
• Drive efficiency and reduce error rates with scripting and automation
• Actively seek solutions to business needs, communicating trends to leadership, and suggesting innovative solutions
• Deploy software to test and production environments supporting the iterative and project life cycles.
• Assist with communication during critical launches and support events
• Perform tasks for projects and support assignments using established procedures
• Ensure internal documentation and knowledge reference pages are updated
• Provide prompt, efficient, detailed, customer-oriented service to internal and external
• Work with other support teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality level of support

Required Experience and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience working directly in a DevOps or Cloud support capacity
• 2+ years' experience supporting at least one platform, Windows, Linux,
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment practices
• Experience supporting Cloud and Hybrid Cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, on premise)
• Experience with configuration management and automation (Terraform, DSC, Ansible, Chef etc.)
• Experience with at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Knowledge of common continuous integration patterns and practices
• Experience working with global IT teams and users located around the world
• Hands on experience configuring and troubleshooting IIS environments
• Experience with the SDLC and Release Management methodologies
• Demonstrate best practices in full life cycle of software development activities
• Effective communication skills
• High standard of quality and focus on customer satisfaction
