Managed the full NPI process for Dell commercial notebook development projects from defining the design and cost, to product developing, validating, and manufacturing. Arranged post-RTS tasks to bridge products to sustaining stage.
1. Successful NPI: Delivered 3 projects in 2 years. Set the timelines and deadlines for each NPI phase and troubleshot the problems to ensure 100% project ontime delivery. Launched Dell Latitude 5000 series on time even with the delayed shipment from CPU supplier. Coordinated internal resources from R&D, Quality, and manufacturing site to complete the tasks of design, prototyping, and test within shorter lead time to compensate for the time lost.
2. Cross-Functional/Multicultural Collaboration: Tracked and reviewed action items, project progress, and follow-ups with key stakeholders from internal cross-functional team, vendors, and customer side.

Managed all technical and engineering activities of Dell commercial notebook development projects to assure accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
1. Product Engineering: Delivered 4 projects in 2+ years. Structured multilevel BOMs for manufacturing and after-market services. Maintained internal BOMs with Windchill and managed customer BOM and ECR communications via Agile.
Defined prototype configuration matrix to enable required functions.
2. Project Management: Prepared, scheduled, coordinated, and monitored the assigned projects. Performed overall quality control of the work, including budget/schedule/plans, and reported regularly on the status. Served as a liaison between manufacturers, R&D, and customers.
