In recent years, the depletion of fishery resources has become a worldwide problem.
In order to use fishery resources sustainably, it is essential to establish an effective fishery management system, and there is an international demand for the development of fishery management systems. This paper examines the impact of management systems on prices and catches, as well as on fishers' incomes, using co-management in Japanese sakuraebi as an example.
