Lean Six Sigma Practitioner

Completed Green belt Six sigma project on improving the automation rate of RBS in 2021, resulting in saving ~2HC’s for AE store. The best practices are then shared with SA and EG stores, resulting in over improvement of Automation rate from 19% to 40%.

Participated as a project champion for 2 Six-sigma projects in 2022 and prepared the project leaders and team members to present the project at each stage with externals for sign off. Both the projects were successfully completed and the team leaders are currently pursing certification.

Successfully launched programs such as ISS (Inbound support services – AE, SA, EG), RVR (return Vendor return – AE, SA, EG), SIRP (Stranded inventory reduction program – EG), Buyability & FTAC (Fast Track ASIN conversion – AE, SA, EG). Currently working on expanding RBS scope to FBA programs and started with onboarding Stranded inventory reduction, return vendor return program to RBS. Successfully generated 6.8 million free cash flow as part of return vendor return program for retail teams with 1.7 million generated through root cause fix preventing the return of units from vendors and carriers back to amazon. FC

Buyability and Fast Track improvement Program MENA (RBS)– Responsibilities

  • Launch buyability program for MENA specific stores and improve the buyability conversion for ASINs created through selection creation program in MENA stores.
  • Analyze MENA specific nuances and create process to streamline the intake mechanism to improve buyability.
  • Educate vendor managers on post ASIN creation actions to improve created to buyability ratio.
  • Increase the current FTAC ASINs to 80K by 2023 in MENA stores. 
Acheivements
  • Initiated Pilot with ISMs and vendor managers to study the movement of ASIN creation to buyable conversion and achieved 80% buyability rate (Vs 30% current buyability rate in MENA)
  • Identified the factors influencing buyability in MENA. Created a buyability validation funnel to pinpoint the reason for ASIN non-buyability 
Stranded Inventory reduction Program (RBS)– Responsibilities 
  • Ensure 99% of inventory at FC is made available for the customers to place orders through MENA stores.
  • Create mechanisms to ensure inventory is either in sellable bins or disposed effectively through optimal channels.
  • Pro-active fixes to ensure the catalog completeness before inventory is received at FC.
Achievements 
  • Reduced stranded inventory from 3.4% in Mar’23 to 2.2% in Jun’23 for MENA.
  • Created end to end SOPs to ensure units are handled off to the relevant teams for disposals.
Inbound support service (RBS)– Responsibilities 
  • Launched ISS program in all 3 MENA stores as a part of Amazon expansion. 
  • Ensure the TP90 and TPMO metrics are less for timely vendor payments. 
  • Identify ways to automate the process to reduce the HC utilized.

  • Reduced TP90 of EG store from 80 days to 14 days in a span of 45 days with retail and FC partnership. 
  • Identified ways and mechanisms to ensure TP90 remains constant during holidays (Leveraged automations). 
  • Partnered with ICQA team and introduced ASIN Flip and adjust receive process to fix wrong receive caused due to migration.
