A native of coastal North Carolina, Erik Sanderson has more than two decades of experience in boatbuilding, yachting, and marinas. He has worked as a captain on mega-yachts and more recently consulted extensively on project development, construction, design, and engineering of marina projects. Since 2006, Erik Sanderson has served as CEO of Technomarine, a marine development and construction firm based in Palm Beach, Florida.
In his role with Technomarine, Mr. Sanderson leads a company that has completed more than 900 successful marina installations in 35 countries, including the Port of Quebec Marina, a project that had to accommodate a water depth of 50 feet and a daily tide differential of 15 feet. Mr. Sanderson guided the firm in the installation of an aluminum frame and flexible bands to hold the structure in place.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Erik Sanderson maintains membership in professional organizations such as the Young Presidents Organization and the Governor's Florida Council of 100, a non-partisan organization of business, academic, and civic leaders.
