Company Overview: We are on the lookout for a dedicated programming professional passionate about addressing global and local environmental issues with us. The role of the System Developer is crucial in developing new applications and maintaining core systems, contributing to our financial sustainability.

Job Description:

• Develop new applications within the digital fundraising ecosystem
• Implement backend changes, provide support and configuration to the CRM system
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into compelling user stories and technical requirements
• Lead discussions and design system solutions for new digital experiences

Work Environment: This position operates in a standard office environment, with occasional travel to other offices. Normal working hours for full-time employees are five days a week (Monday to Friday), between 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, with an hour lunch break. Regular working hours may vary based on agreements between staff and line managers. Company East Asia has offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei, Tokyo, and Seoul, offering the opportunity to work in a multinational and multicultural organization.

Other Highlights:

• Reports to the RD Management Team, distributed across four offices (Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, Taiwan)
• Fixed job responsibilities: responsible for Salesforce, API integration, collaboration with DA teams and member teams in each office
• Position reason: Originally, the team expected each office to deploy one engineer responsible for CRM system maintenance and updates, but later found it challenging to find candidates skilled in both areas. Therefore, the current approach is to set up two engineers, one for CRM system maintenance and updates and one for payment processing, simultaneously responsible for all four global offices.

Position Highlights:

• Multinational team, extensive use of English
• Hybrid remote work, 12 days per month
• Working hours: 09:30-18:00, no clocking in required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficiency in SQL
• Development experience with (Salesforce) programming languages, e.g., Java, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components. Working knowledge or certification with Salesforce CRM is advantageous
• Understanding of frontend stack, e.g., HTML, JavaScript, REST/SOAP API is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile project management highly regarded
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Other languages such as Cantonese, Mandarin, or Korean would be advantageous

• Interviews will be conducted in English and online via ZOOM
• The process includes 2 interviews and a take-home assignment
