We are a passionate startup gaming studio with a vision to create immersive and unforgettable worlds for players to explore. We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Environment Artist (3D) to join our team and help us bring these worlds to life.

About the role:

As an Environment Artist, you will be responsible for creating the stunning environments that players will spend hours exploring. You will:

• Model and texture high-quality 3D assets using software like Maya, Blender, or ZBrush.
• Create realistic and believable materials that bring the world to life.
• Optimize assets for performance and memory constraints.
• Work closely with designers and concept artists to translate their vision into 3D reality.
• Set dress and stage environments with props and foliage.
• Contribute to the overall art direction of the game.

About you:

• You have at least 2 years of experience creating 3D environments for games or other media.
• You are proficient in 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting techniques.
• You have a strong understanding of color theory, composition, and lighting.
• You are a detail-oriented artist with a keen eye for quality.
• You are a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• You are motivated and self-driven, with a strong desire to learn and grow.

Bonus points:

• Experience with PBR materials and shaders.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity3D.
• Experience with world-building and storytelling.
• Strong understanding of game design principles.
