Senior Accountant

Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven accounting expert to join our global accounting team to assist with the day-to-day booking keeping process in our Taiwan branch.

What You’ll Do

• Book all month end journal entries in our Accounting ERP system (Netsuite)
• Prepare monthly balance sheet recons (cash, prepaids, accruals, etc.)
• Own all aspect of vendor payments (PO request, vendor screening, set-up, payments)
• Process monthly payroll, including recording payroll related entries
• Ensure that all transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP accounting standards
• Assist with tax preparation tasks
• Lead local stat audits and support global audit requests
• Prepare cost plus entries
• Prepare monthly cash forecast and monthly funding request
• Prepare month end flux analysis
• Prepare month end reporting package to US Corporate Accounting team
• Review and approve employee expense reimbursement reports in Certify
• Implement processes and streamlining the close process
• Liaison with local business partners and Corporate Accounting team
• Assist with ad-hoc projects

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of accounting experience working in high growth R&D environments
• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
• Familiarity with US GAAP accounting standards, preferrable had worked for a US company or US subsidiary
• Experience streamlining accounting processes
• Experience working with high growth companies, ideally in Software/SAAS industry
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify errors and opportunities for process improvement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (Chinese and English)
• Systems savvy, with experience in NetSuite, Blackline, Expensify, etc.
