Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and highly driven accounting expert to join our global accounting team to assist with the day-to-day booking keeping process in our Taiwan branch.
What You’ll Do
- Book all month end journal entries in our Accounting ERP system (Netsuite)
- Prepare monthly balance sheet recons (cash, prepaids, accruals, etc.)
- Own all aspect of vendor payments (PO request, vendor screening, set-up, payments)
- Process monthly payroll, including recording payroll related entries
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP accounting standards
- Assist with tax preparation tasks
- Lead local stat audits and support global audit requests
- Prepare cost plus entries
- Prepare monthly cash forecast and monthly funding request
- Prepare month end flux analysis
- Prepare month end reporting package to US Corporate Accounting team
- Review and approve employee expense reimbursement reports in Certify
- Implement processes and streamlining the close process
- Liaison with local business partners and Corporate Accounting team
- Assist with ad-hoc projects

What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of accounting experience working in high growth R&D environments
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
- Familiarity with US GAAP accounting standards, preferrable had worked for a US company or US subsidiary
- Experience streamlining accounting processes
- Experience working with high growth companies, ideally in Software/SAAS industry
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify errors and opportunities for process improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Chinese and English)
- Systems savvy, with experience in NetSuite, Blackline, Expensify, etc.
