Crafted the Gender and Social Inclusion Strategy for the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP). I also drafted a guidance document for actors in the plastics value chain and plastics pollution action space on how to mainstream gender and human rights into their institutions and programs. The role includes advising National Gender Advisors on how to translate the global Gender Strategy into national-level action as well as supporting national level actions to assist informal waste-pickers to access social protection and decent work conditions.

Co-developed standards and an assessment mechanism for mainstreaming gender, equity and human rights across the WHO. The standards will become mandatory in 2020. Co-developed and oversaw publication and national piloting (Nigeria and Tanzania) of a handbook for assessing barriers to accessing health services. Supervised and coordinated a team researching violence in the world of work to inform the International Labour Conference on the adoption of new international standards. Authored two Conference reports on law and practice in 80 countries regarding violence in the world of work and a summary of the responses from member States and employers' and workers' organizations as to the preferred content of a new international standard. Drafted a set of conclusions which formed the basis of the discussions leading to the adoption of Convention No. 190, Recommendation No. 206 in 2019.

The Changing Workplaces Review was a provincial government-led review of the changing nature of work. The review informed amendments to Ontario labour law. Authored three reports with recommendations on independent contractors, temporary work agencies and part-time work in order to Inform the Review on employment law and practice in other jurisdictions. The latter report formed the basis of a recommendation by the Review to introduce pay parity for full and part-time workers which led to a labour law amendment in Ontario in 2017.
