School clubs activities:
I worked as an English administrative assistant in Pacsift, an IT company located in Taichung soon after graduated from TungHai. Besides some routine administrative work, I also assisted with the establishment of the company's new office branch in New Delhi, India. From the management of petty cash, building HR system, dealing tax related issues to India employee management, I’ve learned a lot of that the school didn't teach!
I once struggled with cultural difference and Indian accent, but all these become worthy when you see the set-up finishing little by little and the new employees joining us at the other side of the world! Till now, I still keep in touch with some of them in India!
After leaving Taichung, I moved back to Tainan and joined infinix precision corp.
This is a complete new adventure to me as formerly I was surrounded by many IT engineers and now joining a new group with many high precision facilities and technicians!
By joining the sales department, I learn how to communicate and solve problems with customers around the world. For me, communication is something beyond ideas exchanging or negotiation. The most important is that you need to understand what the customers really need and what is the best solution for both sides.
By the end of October, 2018. We joined IFE 2018 (International Fastener Exposition 2018) in Las Vegas as the exhibitor. This is the first time to play solo from campaign signing up, booth/layout decoration, accommodation/ schedule planning to solving some unexpected accident. This is definitely a fresh experience for me, especially when jet-leg hit and you still need to act professional for several situations on site!
In 2019, I joined Catcher’s PM/Sales group. Taking the experience from my former company and some basic CNC knowledge from my family background, I quickly fit in with the RD/QA team.
I’ve worked on 3 projects in Catcher and the average revenue is around $2.8 million per month.
To work with these three different teams in three different plants and three groups of ODM teams, you need clear brain, loads of caffeine, and last but not least, a supportive team!
My first project is hp’s commercial notebook series, which is also hp’s first 5G module. We’ve met a lot of obstacles during the trial phases as this is our first time trying to cover solvent-borne paint on metal with requirement to meet the touch and surface standard of anodizing coating!
With the one-shop total solution in Catcher, I have the chance to learn from the very beginning to the final process - aluminum extrusion, CNC, surface treatment to assembly process. Every project is like a baby that takes so many trials and design change to finally mass production and hit the market!
I can never finish all these projects without the entire group from RD/QA/PE/ the planning team and the customers.
Hello, this is Chia-Yu from Tainan. Friends also call me Chantelle!
Nature is where I find myself most comfortable with and I am always on the go!
Climbing mountains is a good way to train patience and slow down from the everyday hustle and bustle.
Soon after I left my previous job in May, Covid started to go crazy in Taiwan. I took the chance to be with myself and find my healthy life back. Recently I published a Line app sticker to express my passion toward yoga and painting. [Enjoy life with yogi pig]
In the meanwhile, I also work with my family for a house renovation project in Taoyuan during the pandemic from March to September this year. Now I am living in Taoyuan. Being able to live in a new city has been exciting to me!
I am active in most activities through out my 4-year college life in Tunghai University!
From freshman camp to student association, one of the elements that brings a campaign to success is "team work", through which I learn so much about the importance of communication and interpersonal relation. Thanks to these experience in school, I also make great team works with my colleagues in my previous jobs after graduate.
Communication is a life-time lesson for me as I find it so important from daily life to work. Good communication makes a team stronger!
With my previous experience, I would like to join a group that is always open for new ideas and challenges! Please feel free to contact me so that we could know more about each other!
