Alfred Camera enables users worldwide to transform old smartphones into surveillance cameras and also launched hardware product since 2022. Its primary user base is located in North America, particularly in California.

• Innovative Hardware and Monetization Strategy: Utilized the Encourage Program for validating key hardware and monetization strategies without direct A/B Testing, identifying core elements for sales and subscription models.
• Collaborative Data-Driven Product Strategy: Formulated product iteration strategies with the CEO and PMs, ensuring outcome quality through training and reviews, and held meetings and workshops for deep data analysis, aligning closely with company goals.
• Qualitative Data Integration in Analysis: Employed text embedding and Propensity Score Matching for natural experiments on user satisfaction and subscription intent, leading to insights for adjusting the paywall strategy.
• User Feedback Topic Model Development: Created a Topic Model to efficiently capture and understand evolving user feedback, enhancing customer needs and experience insights.

• North Star Metrics & Data Context: In collaboration with the Product Director, established critical business metrics, built a data warehouse, and implemented multi-source ETL, using tools like Airflow and dbt. Focused on user behavior tracking and data-driven decision-making, supplemented by user feedback collected through surveys and interviews.
• A/B Testing for Subscription Pricing: Conducted detailed, multi-centric A/B testing to optimize global subscription pricing, balancing profitability with subscription rates. Improved user journey and onboarding processes by minimizing unnecessary page transitions and highlighting core functionalities.
• User Persona Development: Integrated survey and market research with user data to define user Personas, shifting the company's focus beyond Home Security. Collaborated with marketing and design teams to align product voice and tone with diverse user needs.

• Performance Reporting to Executive Leadership: Executed product and platform performance reporting, presenting findings to the CCO. CMO, CTO. 
• Designing Data Tracking Initiatives: Developed data tracking plans, utilizing Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Matomo for conducting A/B testing on user behavior studies.
• Systematic Review of Campaign Effectiveness: Conducted systematic reviews of campaign performance, defining three distinct types of market activities and user engagement methods, tailored to varying objectives.

• Heading Law First & FDA, Taiwan: I authored comprehensive reports on food safety risks and import goods, analyzing and highlighting flaws in current sampling methods.
• CommonWealth Magazine Group (Taiwan's Most Popular Magazine): Automated routine reports using SAS Macros and developed dashboards with Google Data Studio. Conducted a Data Studio teaching session and analyzed CRM data to enhance EDM outreach strategies.
• Dannee Silk Project (Silk Product Retail Industry): Utilized R and RStudio for statistical modeling of sales data across 35 stores in Taiwan. Collaborated with sales representatives to boost sales efficiency, employed Association Rules for product combination analysis, and used multifactorial regression models and RFM modeling to understand SMS campaigns' impact and customer demographics.
• WINS. Global and High Gate Corp.: Managed international transportation of artworks, focusing on organizing historical data and Salesforce platform development, gaining insights into ERP systems and logistics.
• National Taiwan University: Conducted field surveys in Hualien for research projects, focusing on duck farming and avian influenza awareness studies.

I continuously learn with new methods at work, but I believe it's important to create an environment for ongoing learning outside of work as well. Therefore, I chose to enroll in a in-service master's program. This has provided me the opportunity to interact with professionals from various fields, gaining diverse perspectives on data science, and allowing me to delve deeper into data science in my spare time.

I did not complete my degree. At the beginning of my senior year, I came across a research project on AED (Automated External Defibrillator) geographic location studies being conducted in a laboratory. At that time, I decided to temporarily pause my studies, but joined the same university as a Research Assistant to pursue research that interested me.
