舉例來說，如果你使用 EP（Employment Pass）簽證，適用於高層管理人員、專業人士或技術專家，因此底薪每月至少 5,000 新加坡元，而 EP 簽證的底薪限制也隨著年齡增長逐漸增加，從 23 歲的 5,000 新加坡元，每年增長約 250 新加坡元，直至 45 歲及以上最高可達 10,500 美元（金融產業為 11,500 新加坡元）; 再者，如果你使用 SP（Skilled Pass）簽證，那麼基本底薪為每月 3,150 新加坡元！不過，2025 年 9 月後，SP 簽證的合格薪資將進一步變動，可以持續關注。
