Be a part of the vision to drive HTC’s VR, 5G, AI integrated strategy forward. Play an integral role in defining global strategic business opportunities and partnerships while also identifying internal areas for improvement. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, learns fast and can build strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders alike. The position will call upon your creative and analytical experience to synthesize business cases/models to propose initiatives that maximize business KPIs. Your intellectually curiosity about emerging technology makes you an internal thought-leader and principal evangelist of a burgeoning tech ecosystem. RESPONSIBILITIES Defines vision, strategies, tactics for joint business plans and initiatives which may include go-to-market (GTM) plans and value proposition development as well as respective KPIs, success metrics, joint accountability and governance. Conducts market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Partner with Legal team to develop and negotiate partnership agreements across the entire ecosystem for both enterprise and consumer spaces - always advocating internally on behalf of partners. Be an effective organizer and communicator to enlist technical expertise and drive Proof of Concept solutions for stakeholder consideration. Drive both inbound solution evaluations as well as seeking outbound partnership opportunities. Take an active role post-signing in key account management to ensure success of engagement model. |
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 8 years of experience at a leading consulting firm, investment bank, or in an analytical or partnership management role at a leading technology company
Demonstrated ability to bring impactful strategic deals to life from conception to execution
Ability to develop, review, and negotiate complex contracts - familiarity with standard deal structures
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Motivated, self-directed contributor with ability to multi-task in a cross-functional environment; work through uncertainty but maintain accountability to role’s KPIs.
Strong organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
Fluency in Mandarin and English required
Undergraduate degree required, Graduate degree in technology or business preferred
A plus to have:
C-level presentation experience
Enterprise solutions sales or product development experience
Platform (SaaS/PaaS) or content ecosystem experience
VR/AR, 5G, AI experience
Demonstrated soft skills and workplace empathy in team environment
